I am a Regional ICT Specialist at UNFPA's Asia and Pacific Regional Office, where I support ICT operations and security across 23 country offices. Before UNFPA I worked with WHO on outbreak intelligence, with UNDP on regional IT operations, and in the private sector with Reuters and Thai Airways International.
My work sits at the point where infrastructure, security, and real-world constraints meet. That has meant designing the network behind a national census, restoring connectivity days after a major earthquake, and moving a regional office fleet to cloud-managed networking without disrupting operations.
I hold CISSP and CCSP credentials and serve as Security Focal Point for the regional office. My current focus is practical, security-aware automation and AI governance for field operations.
Deployed to Kathmandu within twelve days of the 7.8 magnitude earthquake to establish communications for the UNFPA surge team. Planned and provisioned connectivity across GSM, mobile hotspot, and satellite fallback while national infrastructure was unstable.
Designed and deployed the network infrastructure and virtualized server platform behind Myanmar's first census in three decades, built for scale and reliability during nationwide data collection.
Migrated traditional network infrastructure to Cisco Meraki cloud-managed networking, improving security posture, visibility, and manageability across the regional office. Earlier, co-implemented the first VoIP system for UN regional offices in Asia and later migrated it to Cisco VoIP.
Built the APRO HACT and Operations dashboards in Power BI with DAX, giving regional management a live view of assurance and operational indicators across country offices.
Implemented a cloud-based CMS and e-learning platform supporting midwifery training across the region, with server deployment automated in Python against a MySQL backend.
Designed and deployed a fully self-hosted RustDesk relay and rendezvous stack on a hardened Debian VPS, replacing third-party remote support tools. End-to-end encrypted sessions, key-pinned clients, and no data leaving infrastructure I control.
